"cool" websites

I've always thought Veer was a great site to deal with. The tabs are simple and get you where you want to go and then once clicked in a tab, the categories navigate you directly where you want and need to be. The sleek colors - gray, black, orange - also give it a very stylized and simple feel.

Oooooh, ChrisWoods has a great site too. I really like the...whattertheycalled...main buckets? anywho - i like how you scroll over them to see the categories below. and then once you've clicked inside, you go upwards or downwards and it's the same thing to navigate out of the frame. it's very interesting, almost seems as if i could get lost - but i enjoy it.

Big Big fan of CraigsList - now as a design junkie it's clearly not beautiful, but as far as user-friendly, categories, easy navigation and a flow throughout pages, it's stellar.

pretty colors, pretty site and pretty flights. southwest dominates in the design department as far as airlines. their interstate treatment and flashy orange, red, blue creates quite an identity for themelves. the site navigates well, reads well and seems to have all the things they would need (air, car, hotel, reservations, info, q&a yada yada) packaged into one home page. thumbs up southwest, thumbs up.

Sour Sally is a very pretty, illustrative site. As far as navigation, if you don't understand what you're doing (i.e my mother who would be so lost and confused by the interaction) it would be confusing. but if you're a world wide web goo-roo like myself, you find it fun and interactive, an alternative way to navigation.

Sawdust is an example of very easy, simple navigation. lists that are highlighted when you scan over them or click them. at the top, very simple, small subheads to define for clarity. it's pretty. the site is pretty too, filled with beautiful illustrations & art.

Fat Man Collective is complex, fun and fulllll of links and buckets. they make navigation easy, for you can always go back to your last step yet the design and concept of the whole site is very strong. they could be designy as well as functionable.

3 sites that relate to MY site:
Retro Planet: Old Fashion Toys & Retro Games
Toys 'R' Us: THE toy store of all toy stores
Vintage Toys : Buying and Browsing of Vintage Games and Toys
